Santon Denies Had Reject Inter and Forced Leave Newcastle
Milan – Davide Santon has denied claims that mentions that he had declined the offer of Inter Milan and was forced to leave Newcastle United. Santon insists that he only took the time to make a decision.
Santon finalize his move to Inter from Newcastle on the last day of the winter transfer window, Monday (02/01/2015) local time. 24-year-old defender came to Inter on loan.
However removals Santon was accompanied by bad news. Santon lover, Chloe Sanderson, said that her boyfriend was actually rejected an offer from Inter. But, Newcastle Santon who then forced to leave.
The news was denied by Santon. Inter’s academy graduates player insists he only took the time to make a decision.
“I just wanted to explain and to be honest, as before. There is a little confusion in the past few hours, saying that I reject the first offer Inter and that I was forced to come here by Newcastle,” wrote Santon on his Facebook account as quoted by ESPN FC.
“Nothing is true. I never refuse Inter, but because the bids came in transfer deadline day, I only asked for time to talk about this with my family for their opinions.”
“The reality is that after talking with a girlfriend and my family, we jointly decided that this would be a fantastic choice, so here I am, ready to come back with my new uniform number 21 … Forza Inter,” he concluded.
Santon joined Newcastle from Inter in 2011. In his first three seasons at Newcastle, Santon appear regularly and had become the main left the Magpies. But he then severe knee injury and missed the first half of the season.
