Giggs Learning Many of Van Gaal
Manchester – Starting this season, Ryan Giggs has a new role: assistant manager of Manchester United. He sits side by side with Louis van Gaal he describes as one of the most experienced managers in world football.
This is not the first time Giggs sampled positions in the club’s coaching staff. Last season, after David Moyes was sacked, appointed Giggs became United’s caretaker for the last four games in the league.
Now, with his new position, Giggs is claimed to be ready to learn a lot. Moreover, Van Gaal had a relatively good track record in the world of coaching.
“Working under the direction of a great manager who has a good track record is an amazing experience. I enjoyed it and the manager was very kind to me,” Giggs said as quoted by the official club website.
“I’m trying to do my job as best as possible to ensure the teams are in the best condition and ready for every game.”
“There’s a lot of work done to prepare for the game and slowly we begin to see progress,” said Giggs.
Van Gaal had won the Dutch league and Champions League while still dealing with Ajax Amsterdam in the mid-90s. He is also likely to promote a lot of young players at Ajax in that era. In addition, he has also won the Spanish league with Barcelona and won the German League with Bayern Munich.
Giggs himself has admitted that United’s coach someday is his dream.
